Adult incontinence products by type

Our adult incontinence products are sorted into four types, each with its own page:

• Incontinence pants: pull-ups worn like underwear, from Depend Real Fit and TENA Pants to iD Pants Soft Feel and Lille Suprem Pants. See incontinence pants.

Belted and bariatric products

A few products sit in Adult Continence itself rather than a type page. iD Belt Plus, Super and Maxi are all-in-one products with a re-sealable belt around the waist, which the maker says is easy to remove when going to the toilet. The HARTMANN Belted Product also uses a simple belt for adjustment. For larger bodies, bariatric continence products include MoliCare Bariatric, with an extra wide waist of 160 to 239cm, the Lille Suprem Fit Bariatric Brief by Prevail, listed up to 254cm, and Depend Bariatric Straps.

Adult continence supplies for skin and changing

Adult continence supplies in the range include iD Care Barrier Cream, iD Care Cleansing Milk, iD Care Wet Wipes and iD Care Wet Wash Gloves, plus Depend Cleansing Wipes. For carers, Continence Health Australia suggests that you gently clean and dry the skin at each pad change and apply a barrier cream or moisturiser. If skin becomes red or sore, it advises talking to a doctor straight away.

Sizing and absorbency

Most pants and briefs are sized by waist or hip measurement, and many show the range in the product name, such as iD Slip Plus M (80-125cm) or iD Pants Soft Feel Super L (100-135cm). Measure before ordering and choose the size whose range includes your measurement.

Absorbency is shown in millilitres or as a level. As a general pattern in the makers' descriptions, pads and liners are aimed at light to moderate leaks, pull-up pants at moderate to heavy leaks, and all-in-one briefs at heavy leaks or people with limited mobility. NDIS funding for adult continence supplies

If your incontinence is directly related to your disability, Continence Health Australia says continence products may be funded through the NDIS.
