Hand sanitiser

Aqium Antibacterial Hand Sanitiser comes in original, with aloe and Ultra versions, and its product description lists 70% alcohol with glycerine. Dettol Healthy Touch instant hand sanitiser comes in 50mL clip bottles, 200mL and 500mL sizes, and there are Dettol Instant Hand Sanitizer Wipes. MY Dual Purpose Sanitiser is a 70% isopropyl alcohol spray for skin and surfaces. Healthdirect also warns that alcohol-based sanitiser can be poisonous if swallowed, so keep it out of reach of children.

Hand wash and soap

Dettol antibacterial hand wash comes in liquid and foam pumps, large refills and the Dettol No-Touch automatic hand wash system with its refills. Bar soaps, body washes and shower gels from Dettol Profresh and Parents Approved are here too.

Disinfectant wipes

Dettol disinfectant wipes include Hospital Grade Disinfectant Surface Cleaning Wipes in a 240 pack, antibacterial disinfectant surface wipes in 90 and 180 packs, biodegradable disinfectant wipes, and multipurpose wipes in several scents. There are also 2 in 1 hands and surfaces wipes, kitchen and bathroom wipes, and floor cleaning wipes with the Dettol floor cleaning system.

Surface disinfectant and household cleaning

For surfaces there is MY Surface Disinfectant, Vira San, Dettol Antiseptic Antibacterial Disinfectant Liquid, Dettol Household Grade Disinfectant in 750mL and 2L, Spray & Wear surface spray and Dettol multipurpose trigger sprays. Vira San’s product description identifies it as a hospital grade disinfectant included on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG). The TGA explains how hospital grade and household or commercial grade disinfectants are regulated, so check the label to match a product to its intended use. Laundry sanitisers, a washing machine cleaner, mould remover and bathroom and kitchen sprays complete the range.
