Over toilet aids & frames
An over toilet aid is a height adjustable frame with a seat and arms that stands over your existing toilet, raising the seat and giving you something to push against as you sit and stand. Allcare Warehouse stocks frames in steel, aluminium and stainless steel, plus folding, wide and extra wide models. This page also holds toilet surrounds, toilet safety arms and raised toilet seats, including toilet seat raisers. Listings use both spellings, over toilet aid and overtoilet aid, for the same type of frame.

Toilet surround and toilet frame options
A toilet surround is a freestanding toilet frame with arms but no seat, placed around your own toilet to assist transfers. The standard surround adjusts from 625mm to 775mm high, with 455mm between the arms, rated to 125kg. The wide surround has a fixed height, 620mm between the arms, a rear cross bar for stability and a 130kg rating.
Toilet safety arms
Toilet safety arms attach to the toilet using your existing toilet seat fixings. The aluminium safety arms adjust in height and width (450mm to 550mm between the arms) and are rated to 110kg. The stainless steel Darts arms lift back separately for transfers and are rated to 200kg. The Throne 3 in 1 arms set in a standard position, splay wider or fold down for side transfers, rated to 130kg.
Raised toilet seat options
A raised toilet seat sits on the toilet pan and adds height only. The Savannah has front and rear cutouts for personal cleaning, the Prima has a front cutout, and the Serenity has smooth edges and a high gloss finish for easier cleaning. Specify the height and type when you order; the Savannah and Serenity are rated to 190kg.
Pairing with other aids
If you would rather have a fixed handhold, see toilet grab rails. The P-Guard splash guard and spare commode bowls are in Bathroom Accessories, and the 2 in 1 bedside model in Commodes doubles as an over toilet aid.
