Enteral feeding supplies

Enteral feeding delivers nutrition through a tube into the stomach or small intestine when a person cannot eat or drink enough by mouth. Allcare Warehouse stocks enteral feeding supplies for home and facility use, including tube feeds, giving sets, gastrostomy and nasogastric tubes, enteral syringes and connectors. Tube feeding is set up and managed under the direction of a doctor or dietitian, so order the exact products and sizes your health care team has specified. The guide below explains what is in the range.

Why we don't display Prices ?

In this competitive market, we do the research on your behalf for the best prices and stock availability from different suppliers. Our product sourcing team is on constant lookout for the best deals from our suppliers, and we pass these great discounts on to you.

Tube feeds

We stock ready-to-hang bottles, cans and packs from Abbott and Nutricia, including Osmolite, the Jevity range, Ensure Plus HN, Two Cal HN, Glucerna Select and Nutrison Multi Fibre. Healthdirect explains that when swallowing is severely affected, food and drink can be given through a feeding tube, and a dietitian can help work out the nutrition a person needs.

Feeding sets

Feeding sets, also called giving sets, connect the feed container to the feeding tube. Options include:

  • Pump sets: Kangaroo Joey sets, including feed and flush bag sets and spike sets, for use with Kangaroo Joey enteral feeding pumps, and Flocare Infinity pack and giving sets.
  • Gravity sets: ENFit gravity giving sets and a DEHP-free 1000 mL gravity set.
  • Other sets: Freego ENFit giving sets and 3 in 1 feed and flush sets.

Flexiflo Flexitainers in 500 mL and 1000 mL sizes are available for decanting feed.

PEG feeding supplies and tubes

A gastrostomy is an opening into the stomach for a feeding tube; PEG, short for percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy, is one way it is placed. Our PEG feeding supplies and tubes include:

  • Low-profile tubes: HALYARD MIC-KEY low-profile gastrostomy tubes and MIC-KEY kits and feeding sets.
  • Gastrostomy tubes: MIC gastrostomy tubes from 14 to 22 FR, a 24 FR gastrostomy tube, and Flocare ENFit G-Tubes in CH18 and CH20.
  • Nasogastric tubes: Ryles tubes, a Flocare PUR ENFit NG tube, Entriflex tubes and infant feeding tubes.
  • Adaptors: a PEG access ENFit adaptor, ENFit transition adaptors and a Flocare ENFit bolus adaptor.

Enteral syringes and small items

Our enteral syringes come in 1 mL and 2.5 mL low-dose sizes and 5, 10, 20, 30, 60 and 100 mL sizes, with a reusable 60 mL syringe and a Monojet catheter-tip syringe. ENFit is a connector design used on enteral devices so that compatible feeding parts fit together. Medicine straws, milk straws and male caps round out the range.

Ordering the right item

Some product photos in this category are sample images rather than the exact item. Order by the full product name, tube size, length and connector type on your care plan, and call us to confirm the code if you are unsure. Many of our enteral feeding supplies are sold by the box or carton. If the person also has swallowing difficulties, see our thickened drinks. A stable IV pole can hold a feed bag. You can browse all nutrition and feeding supplies, find infection control supplies, or, if you are a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participant, read about buying with NDIS funding.

You are welcome to visit the Liverpool showroom or call 1300 767 777 with any questions about these supplies.

Frequently asked questions

Does Allcare advise which feed or tube to use?
No. Allcare Warehouse is a supplier, not a clinical service. Your doctor, dietitian or nutrition nurse decides the feed, volume, tube type and size. Once you have those details, we can help you find the matching enteral feeding supplies and carton size.
Can I order a single item instead of a full carton?
Many feeds and consumables are listed by the carton or box, and a few items are also listed singly, such as Flexiflo Flexitainers. Check the quantity in the product name, or call 1300 767 777 to ask what pack sizes are available.
Can I use NDIS funding for tube feeding products?
Funding depends on your plan and the decision of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), not on Allcare. Allcare Warehouse is a registered NDIS provider, and participants with self-managed, plan-managed or NDIA-managed plans can call 1300 767 777 to talk about ordering. Check with your plan manager or support coordinator first.
