The Level 2, 4 layer face mask
Each blue mask has ear loops, a metal nose strip and a four layer construction of spun-bond polypropylene outside and inside and melt-blown polypropylene in the middle. To fit one, clean your hands, hold it strip up with the blue side out, loop it over both ears so it covers the mouth, nose and chin, then press the strip to the nose.

Frequently asked questions
Can a disposable face mask be worn more than once?
No. Healthdirect's face mask guidance says not to use single-use masks more than once, and not to touch the front of a mask while wearing it or taking it off. With 40 to a pack, plan on a fresh mask each time one is needed.
Will this mask protect against bushfire smoke?
No. The same Healthdirect page notes that cloth and surgical masks do not protect you from bushfire smoke, while respirators can, provided they form a tight seal around the face. For smoke, look for a properly fitted respirator rather than a disposable mask.
