QV washes and body moisturisers

QV Wash is a soap-free cleanser for dry or sensitive skin, and QV Gentle Wash carries more moisturiser for very dry skin. QV Bar looks and feels like soap but is not, and QV describes it as particularly suitable for infants and older people. Bath Oil, Shower Milk and Intensive Moisturising Cleanser complete the washes. Afterwards, QV Skin Lotion is a light, non-greasy option, while QV Moisturising Cream, Intensive Cream and Intensive Body Moisturiser suit drier skin. QV Hand Cream and QV Feet Heel Balm cover hands and cracked heels.

QV Dermcare and flare up care

Healthdirect advises people with eczema to apply a moisturiser or emollient at least twice a day, even when the skin is under control, and says thick moisturisers or ointments are best. QV Dermcare Eczema Daily Cream and Eczema Daily Wash both contain ceramides and are described for symptomatic relief of mild to moderate eczema. QV Dermcare Sting-Free Ointment is water-free, for very dry, cracked skin. QV Flare Up Cream is an emollient for atopic eczema and dermatitis symptoms, and QV Flare Up Wash suits smaller areas when a full bath is not practical.

QV face, hair and baby care

QV Face covers cleansers, wipes, an exfoliating polish, a clay mask, Rescue Gel, a night cream and an eye cream. QV Hair shampoos and conditioners are fragrance-free for dry or sensitive scalps, and QV Naked deodorant comes in an aluminium free version. QV Baby includes a gentle wash, bath oil and 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner, several described as paediatrician recommended. These sit alongside other brands in our baby care range.

Which QV products include sun protection?

Three are listed with SPF. QV Face Moisturising Day Cream SPF 30 is a broad spectrum daily moisturiser that QV says is designed for sensitive, irritated and eczema prone skin. QV Face Lip Balm SPF 30+ protects dry lips, and QV Hand Cream With SPF 15 suits driving, gardening and time outdoors.

Is there a QV moisturiser for oily skin?

Yes. QV Face Oil Free Moisturiser is a lightweight facial moisturiser for oily and combination skin. QV describes it as non-comedogenic, so it won't block pores, and says it minimises shine with a matte finish. It contains vitamin B3 and pro-vitamin B5 and is free from fragrance and colour.

Can QV products help with nappy rash?

QV Baby Barrier Cream is the product made for it. QV says it forms a barrier that shields a baby's skin from water, detergents and other irritants while a moisturising base helps rehydrate the skin. QV Baby Skin Lotion and QV Baby Moisturising Cream are also described as suitable for nappy rash, baby eczema and sensitive skin.
