Frequently asked questions
Why are there no prices on the website?
Our website works as a catalogue rather than an online shop, so products are listed without prices and there is no cart or checkout. To find out what an item costs, note its name and ask the team by phone, by email or through our contact page, and they will quote it for you along with availability.
How do I place an order?
You can order by phone on 1300 767 777, by email to [email protected], or in person at the Liverpool showroom. Give the product name, how many you need, any size or colour, and whether you would like it delivered or collected. Our page on placing an order walks through each option.
Can I buy without NDIS or aged care funding?
Yes. Funding is not a requirement. Families, carers and people paying privately order in exactly the same way as funded customers, and the team confirms the price and whether the item is available before anything is arranged. See how ordering works if this is your first order.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver anywhere in Sydney. Freight can be organised to other parts of NSW, and items on the website are listed for delivery Australia wide. When you order, give the full delivery address and mention stairs or tight access, and the team will explain how your items will reach you. Read more about delivery and pick-up.
Can I collect my order instead?
Yes. Orders can be collected from the Liverpool showroom or from our store at 44 Georges River Rd, Croydon Park. Say which pick-up point suits you when you order, then ring before heading over so you know your order is waiting. Both addresses are on our contact page.
Where is the Liverpool showroom?
Our main showroom is at Shop 7 inside Northumberland Arcade, 230 Northumberland Street, Liverpool NSW 2170. It is where you can look at equipment in person, although only a selection of the range is on show at any one time, so ring first about the product you have in mind. The showroom page explains how to find it.
What is the Croydon Park location for?
Our Croydon Park store at 44 Georges River Rd, Croydon Park NSW 2133 is our second location. To look at a product before you buy, visit the Liverpool showroom instead.
Do you supply NDIS participants?
Yes. We are a registered NDIS provider and work with participants on NDIA-managed, plan-managed and self-managed plans alike. Our NDIS page explains how each plan type affects ordering and which of our ranges cover assistive technology and consumables.
What do new NDIS customers need to provide?
New NDIS customers fill in our service agreement form. It asks for the participant's details, including their NDIS number and date of birth, the plan's start and finish dates and management type, plus the plan itself as a PDF. Having these ready before you call makes your first order quicker.
Will my NDIS plan pay for a particular item?
Whether an item is funded comes down to your plan and the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), so it is not something we can decide. Our team can describe a product and what it does, but cannot promise it will be funded. For costly or higher-risk equipment, speak with your assistive technology advisor or a health professional first, then contact us with the product names.
Can I use Support at Home funding for equipment?
Older people approved for Support at Home can receive equipment funding through its Assistive Technology and Home Modifications (AT-HM) scheme after an aged care assessment through My Aged Care. Their Support at Home provider arranges the items. Our page on Support at Home funding explains the scheme and how buying from us fits in.
Do you assess what equipment someone needs?
No. Allcare Warehouse supplies equipment, and assessments are a job for clinicians. A GP, occupational therapist or other health professional can work out what will suit the person, and with that advice in hand, our team can show you matching products at the Liverpool showroom or help you order by phone.
Can you help me compare similar products?
Yes. Tell the team what the person is finding hard, the space the item needs to fit and any measurements you have, and they can talk you through the options in our range. Medical decisions, such as which wheelchair or bed suits a condition, stay with a health professional. Get in touch to start.
What if I need to return a product or it is faulty?
Our returns and refunds page sets out your rights and how to raise a return, a refund or a faulty product with us. Keep your order details handy and contact the team on 1300 767 777 or at [email protected].
