Contoured Bed Wedge

A specially contoured and adjustable bed wedge with an inbuilt support column to gently cushion the spinal arch ideally suited to people suffering medical conditions that require an angled sleeping position such as bronchial or respiratory problems, hiatus hernia, heart conditions or gastric reflux.

For optimal back support, the wedge is mildly angled to minimize pressure to the weight bearing lower vertebrae.

Designed to encourage correct spinal alignment and spread weight more evenly, the removable foam insert allows you to change the angle of the wedge from 10º to 15º to suit your comfort needs.

The angle minimizes pressure on the sensitive lower back and buttock region, while the contoured scallop surface moulds to your body for added security.

Made from 100% open cell breathing¬ urethane foam and available with either a removable, quilted cover for maximum comfort or a hospital grade, moisture resistant, bacteria inhibiting Steri-Plus cover for maximum infection control and incontinence protection.

Both covers are easy to remove and machine washable.

The Bed Wedge is designed for use with a low pillow only.

It measure 4 ; 25 cm high, 68 cm wide and 75 cm long.

It can be used in conjunction with the Contoured Leg Relaxer.
