Hydrogen peroxide works by producing destructive hydroxyl free radicals that can attack membrane lipids, DNA and other essential cell components.

Hydrogen peroxide is active against a wide range of microorganisms, including bacteria, yeasts, fungi, viruses and spores.

A 0.5% accelerated hydrogen peroxide demonstrated bactericidal and virucidal activity in 1 minute and mycobactericidal and fungicidal activity in 5 minutes.

Benzalkonium Chloride (Quaternary Ammonium) has been attributed to the inactivation of energy producing enzymes, denaturation of essential cell proteins and disruption of the cell membrane through the bactericidal action of the quaternaries.

Quaternaries sold as hospital disinfectants are generally fungicidal, bactericidal and virucidal against lipophilic viruses.

Commonly quaternaries are used in ordinary environmental sanitation of non-critical surfaces, such as floors, furniture and walls.

The synergy between Hydrogen Peroxide and Benzalkonium Chloride is a proven germicidal combination as well as a broad spectrum anti- bacterial agent.

It’s safe and suitable to use on all hard surfaces and works within 1 minute. The ingredients are 100% biodegradable.

Hydrogen Peroxide breaks down into water and oxygen after its germicidal activity.

Benzalkonium Chloride lasts 6-12 hours on hard surfaces thereby extending the period of protection.

As a result of the synergy between both actives, the frequency of use is considerably reduced.
